Think Pink!!!!!!

Well I finally did it! I painted my ATG gun pink. It was a task since it was taking for ever to dry. I live in NC and the last two days have really been humid. It took me two days to finally get the thing to dry and add my final coat. I did use the Valspar plastic paint first. I had to coat it twice. Then since the colors are limited in the plastic paint, I in turn had to add two more coats of the regular spray paint in the pretty pink that I selected. Trying to tape off the bits that you don't want painted is another thing to tackle. The area where the trigger is, is difficult to get the tape snug against the gun. Well it is done now, and I added some pretty blue half pearls on one side. Hope you like me newly decorated ATG.

How to make a photo corner

This technique is not original. I was at a crop and several ladies were making their own photo corners. I spent more time filling my head with new ideas instead of scrapping. Today I want to share my scraplifted idea with you so that you can pass it along.LOL

Cut a square piece of cardstock. Any size you want. This one is 2".

Cut the square into two rectangles.

Score 1/4" on the right angle side.

Remove the corner square.

You may use a punch to make a decorative edge or leave as is.

Fold your rectangles at the two score lines.

Add adhesive to the inside of the scored lines, and add to your project.

Nature in Action

I live in NC, and we have these little green tree frogs that are just so darn cute. I had this little guy sitting on my screen porch door. I was unloading groceries and coming in and out of the door. He just sat there watching me do my job. So I decided to give him a little snack. I found a dead bug(ok don't freak out)and put it on the tiny ledge. The wind blew just enough to make the bug move, and blast off, the frog ate it! I just happened to capture it on video. This is for all the frog lovers out there.
