With an 8-1/2"x11" piece of computer paper, you can make any size envelope to fit your home made cards. I have been making these envelopes for a very long time. I think I learned this technique at a craft show that I attended. Thanks for joining me.

I've learned this method the hard way last year when I made my Christmas Cards. I used 24 lb. colored paper from Staples and it's a little thicker than ordinary copy paper at 20 lb. I LOVE, LOVE your idea of punching out the flap and adding colored paper behind it. What a fabulous idea. TFS.
ReplyDeleteBrillant! I have been stuggling with envelopes ever since I got the CE. Just purchased the Ultimate Crafter Companion and awaiting delivery. That's suppose to have an envelope function as well. Thanks so much for the video! I will definately be using your method!
ReplyDeleteGreat video Lorraine, I will be using your method for sure. Thanks so much for the tutorial and your instructions were so easy to follow. I can't wait to give this a try on some of my off size cards.
ReplyDeleteLorraine thanks for the great tutorial. I usually only make A2 cards but occassional make big ones and don't have envelopes to fit. Now i always will thanks to your method.
ReplyDeleteGreat video.......I have those enveloper set that they had on QVC once but never have used them. You make it look so easy.

Great Video. Your videos I always enjoy as you take the time to explain as you go along.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be making more envelopes. I also want to tell you that I made two Birthday cards that I got from your videos. The one pop card with the cake on it, I just happen to have the same Sweet treat paper and I used the cake the same way you did. Thanks again for those awsome videos. Keep those videos coming!!!!/

I've been looking all over for a quick, easy way to make envelopes and this is by far the best and easiest tutorial I've found on it, plus I love what you did with the blue trim. I'm so glad I found this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this Vlog tutorial!! I just need 10 A7 sized envelopes and am using this instead of buying 100 of them!
