This is what I put together for my 12x12" sheets of cardstock. I got the shelves at Target, but I cannot remember if I got one or two boxes of shelves. Anyway I know I paid $20.00 for the shelves. I put the shelves together with zip ties. This way you can space the shelves according to how wide you want them. I first made a square minus the front, and then added my inner shelves. You can use as many zip ties, as you need in order to make them sturdy. After you get your first cube completed, them you can build on that. For the second unit you will not need a bottom, because you will already have it from the first cube. If you need further explanation just pm me. Hope this makes sense.
The first picture is of the completed shelf unit. The second is what the individual shelves look like. Sorry for the dark pictures. It is raining like nuts here.
Hello everyone!! My cricut is working overtime. I am cutting like a mad woman, and my house shows how neglected it is. Any way here are two adorable cards that I made with Stacy's help from love that bug. I'm sure most of you know that she is doing the entire cricut cartridge on video. Way to go Stacy!!! Great job so far!!! Here is a link to her blog if you would like to join in. Have a great day!!
Hello everyone, It's time for this weeks two minute video. I found this chalk board paper at Michael's, and thought it would be something I could use on my cards, or even on some of my mini albums. Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment. Enjoy the video, and thanks for visiting me today!
Oh my!!!! These faces are so adorable. I am going to a celebration and I am planning on taking a large tray of strawberries, so I thought I would make a card to display in front of the tray. One strawberry is not very happy that his buddies are going to be eaten. LOL Enjoy the video.
Hello everyone! Today I would like to post a couple of things. I made the next card from Stacy's Create A Critter Series. I love the beach, and have several friends that spend time there every summer. This card will be perfect for one of my beach buddies. He is almost as cute as Johnny Depp.LOL
This card is so cute. It will be perfect for a child's birthday or just to say hello. I have had this water paper for so long, and then when I saw how cute these whales were, I knew that old paper would perfect for this card. This cut can be found on page 41 of the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge. Be sure to visit Stacy from http://lovethatbug.blogspot.com/
and watch her video. Thank you Stacy!
Hello everyone!! I love following along with Stacy's Create A Critter Series. I am so behind, but I had a chance to make one tonight. I used sandpaper for the the sand on the front of the card. Now my husband is short one sheet of sandpaper.LOL I also added a large shell to help hold the card open. Visit Stacy at: http://lovethatbug.blogspot.com/
and she will have a video for you to see how this card is created. Thank you Stacy!
We have a winner for my Counting Sheep Give away!!! Thank you everyone for all your wonderful comments, and for playing along. This was fun to do, and I enjoyed reading how many sheep you thought I had to make. This will be the mom's first baby, so I wanted to make them extra special. Thank you for visiting my blog!
I am going to guess 55. They are adorable. I love the embossing.
My friend Beth's daughter is having a baby, and I offered to make her baby shower invitations. So to celebrate I will be doing a give away. If you can guess how many sheep I have, you will get a fab gift. This is for one of my followers, so if you would like to play along all you have to do is become a follower. One entry per person please. If I have two people that guess the exact amount, I will draw between the two. If no one guesses the exact amount, the person that comes close to the amount wins. Below is a video on how to make this card, and also of the items I will be giving. The last two photos may give you a clue to the amount of sheep. The second video is done in poor quality filming. Sorry for the technical difficulty. Thanks for playing along.
Hello everyone!! Today I would like to share two of my favorite tools. These corner chompers add so much to your cardstock for cards or layouts. These tools are easy to use and even have a trap door for all the little clippings. Thank you everyone for visiting and watching my videos.
This little bear is so adorable. I used some animal print cardstock for my mat and added a strip of printed paper ribbon. The inside has a happy birthday sentiment. Thank you Stacy for your Create A Critter card series. For all the details and a video for this card, visit Stacy at lovethatbug. Thank you everyone for visiting my blog today.
Hello everyone!! Today I would like to make things a little easier and quick when it comes to making a card. I have purchased the Mariposa Matstack from Joann's. I have also seen it at Michael's, and ACMoore. With two single color cardstock and a single sheet from the stack, I have created a beautiful greeting card for any occasion. This cardstock is so beautiful, that additional embellishments are not necessary. Give card making a try, and you will be hooked on creating more! Thanks for watching.
I am backtracking a little on Stacy's Create a Critter series. I got started a little late, but wanted to be sure and make all the little critters on this cartridge. These little cute pigs are one page 28. I will also soon be posting some of the other cards I missed. I think I am behind about three others. Until then, have a fun evening.

I thought it would be fun to make a card using this magnifying glass, The butterfly under the glass seems to look very large. I used acetate to get the feel of real glass. Thanks for joining me, and thanks for watching!
This little squirrel is so darn cute! One year we captured 80 squirrels from our back yard, and relocated them. This was our hobby one summer. I was really going nuts with these little cuties. I think there was a population explosion!LOL
This card is perfect for a guy's birthday. It is very difficult to make male cards, and this one fits the bill. Don't forget to visit Stacy for the how to video. http://lovethatbug.blogspot.com/
Thank you for visiting today. I sure do appreciate you sooooo much.
I love anything to do with pretty paper. I started making cards when my husband purchased my first Cricut by Provo Craft. That was only two years ago. Now I can not resist a 12x12 sheet of scrapbook paper. I hope you can join in on the paper fun and have a great time. Another thing that keeps me busy is taking care of my three Shih-Tzus. They are just such little characters!
