This is what I have been doing today

Hello everyone, I will post the continuation of the card series on Monday the 27th of Feb.

I thought I would take a little break from the videos today and make a few cards.  The black and white card is for a lady named Tammy.  She is the service manager at a dealership I frequent and has maintained my cars for over 20 years.  She discovered discrepancies on previous work done and has saved me hundreds of dollars.  To show my gratitude, this card was accompanied by a dozen roses.  She is very loyal to her customers and is a wonderful person.  Thank you Tammy!
The card stock for this card is from DCWV Mademoiselle paper stack I purchased last year. I can’t believe I had this jewel statched away. I think I will be making several more with this theme. The paper is more vintage, and I have really been wanting to go more in the direction with my cards. Thank you so much for dropping by today to visit. See you on Monday.

Elegant Edges Greeting Card #2

Hello Scrappers!  I have another card to share with you today using the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.  I think I am hooked on this cartridge.  I own a few spellbinders, and I think I will limit my spending on those.  I love that I can cut any size that I need for my project with the EE cartridge.  This is one cart that I would definitely recommend.  As always, I appreciate that you take the time to visit, and for leaving me your comments.  Thanks again.

Just A Note Card Cartridge by Cosmo Cricut

This card is on page 37 from the Just A Note pre-loaded cartridge on the E2.  There is a card feature on every page.  I cut the card at 5-1/4" including the layers.  All the cards on this cartridge are in the tri-fold style.  Some of the characters are silly, but still very cute.LOL  Here is one of the thank you cards that I put together.  It was fun deciding what paper to use, and how to decorate the card.  I ended up cutting the base in a cream colored card stock.  Then I took a sheet of patterned paper, and put may paper upside down on the mat.   This way the  pattern would be correct to make layers for the original base.  I just separated the three sections and made my own layers.  I think I am going to have fun making these cards.  Thank you again for visiting me, and looking at my creations!!!

Thank You Card-Lacy Labels Cricut Cartridge

This is my first project with the Lacy Labels Cricut Cartridge. With just a few cuts you can layer this design, and have a great look. I cut the frame at 3-1/2" along with the sentiment, and shadow. I rounded the corners of my 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" card base, along with the designer paper mat. I would recommend using your xyron on the layering of the sentiment. It is very thin and hard to add adhesive. If you need to make several thank you cards, this is fast and easy. So stock up on your cards, and have them ready when you need to thank someone.
Thank you for visiting!!!
