Spellbinder Dies

This card can be created by using spellbinder dies, but wait........I also have an alternative way to create a similar design using your cricut.  I hope this gives you additional ideals on how to substitute items that you already have, to create some of my other projects by using just a few small changes or substitutes.  Thank you for visiting me today.

  1. Lorraine, both versions are the cards are beautiful!!! I love the Spellbinders and the Cricut cards!!!

I don't have the Lacy Labels cart but I do have the dies... thank goodness!!! Thanks for the great tutorial on putting the card together! I'll definitely be doing something similar -- love it!

    Hugs!

  2. I'm thrilled you have done this Lorraine, I'm always telling people they don't need to keep buying Spellbinders or other dies once you have a Cricut. You can do everything apart from emboss the same. Thanks for the tutorial, must get that cart even though I do have others similar.

  5. I have been curious, but to lazy, to check on which cuts could be substituted for the Spellbinder dies. I only have a few of the Spellbinders and really do not want to invest in two of the same.
Thanks for making the replacement work so easy with the elegant card you have done.

  7. The white paper you have used for several of your cards seems to be a ....brighter(?) white. Is it something special ? What brand do you use?

    1. Hi Debby, I use the Georgia Pacific card stock from Walmart. It is 110 pound weight, and it is very good quality paper. You can find it in the stationary section next to the computer paper.
