"Cute As A Button" Card

As you all know by now, I love using punches! I have been looking and looking at this Martha Stewart button punch for some time now. I had a 50% off coupon to Michael's and finally decided to buy the punch. Boy am I loving this little punch. I had a blast making the buttons in all different colors for my "Cute As A Button" card. Have fun watching the video, and thanks for joining me!

  2. Great video. I think I might have to get that punch. Gives me a valid reason "not" to throw out those little scraps.

  3. Cute video, Lorraine. I love your button punch! TFS you great idea on the faux thread, I never would have thought to use cardstock strips. Also, loved your impromptu tutorial on threading your ATG! Lol. You just go with the flow without losing a beat! I'm impressed!! TFS and have a great day.

  4. Thanks Lorraine, Great video.
I bought this punch awhile back to make a LO for my 9 months old Granddaughter.
But I never thought of using strips of paper for the thread. Great tip. TFS

  6. Lorraine,

This card is so pretty. Love the idea of using the buttons. I have so many button and usually I only use 1 or 2 on a card.
    Thanks for the idea.

  9. This is so cute! I just purchased my cricut and this button punch, I love the design. I was wondering what type of adhesive/glue do you use for the letters because the glue stick dont seem to be the best way???

  10. Anonymous,
Congratulations of getting a Cricut Machine!
I used a zyron sticker maker, but there are a lot of scrapbook adhesives that will work well. I use Elmer's Memory Book Glue Pen or a Zig 2 Way Glue Pen(CHISEL TIP)there are several tip sizes. These can be purchased at Michael's or even Walmart. I hope this helps.
