A Vase Of Beautiful Flowers-Art Nouveau Cricut Cartridge-video

Hello Blogger Buddies,  I am back to the Art Nouveau cartridge once again.  I love flowers, and this vase was just what I wanted to add these beautiful mulberry flowers.  I cut the vase at 3-1/2"  which if it is cut any smaller the pieces may be very tiny and difficult to put together.  I hope you enjoy the video, and as always I enjoy your comments and appreciate you visiting me.

Thinking Of You Red Cardinal-video

Hello Blogger Buddies,

Today’s card is done in a blue color scheme. I think I really like it. I  need to stay away from my favorite pink and green. I don’t know for how long I can do that though, I'll just have to keep trying.  LOL
I have used some Spellbinder dies, and a cardinal stamp, which I colored with my copics. I hope you enjoy the video and are able to use some of my ideas from this card on your next project.

A Color Challenge For Myself

Hello Blogger Buddies!!  I love to use three colors that are my favorite, and that is pink, white, and green.  So I decided to challenge myself and try to use a different color pallet.  I started of great using blues, cream, and, tan, but when it came to the flowers I fell off the wagon.  The flowers in my stash are mostly the colors I'm trying to avoid.  I think I did pretty well for the first card challenge.
I used the arch from the Bloom Lite Cricut Cartridge which was cut at 5-1/2".  The only layer I used was the leaf layer.  I wanted to add my own flowers instead of the one's that could be cut from the cartridge.  They were just to flat for me.  It's nice to add your own touch to your cuts, and make it more of your own creation.  Why not give yourself a color challenge and make something out of your comfort zone.  Thank you for visiting me today, and I appreciate all your comments.

Thankful For Our Freedom

Hello Blogger Buddies and happy July!!!  We are only a few days away from our country's celebration, so I got out my Stand and Salute Cricut Cartridge and got to work.  I so love this country and am so proud and honored to live here.  Here is my salute to America.
I used a 5-1/2"x 7-1/2" card base and used lots of layers in red, white, and blue.  The top layer I ran throught the cuttlebug using the Allegro folder.  I cut the star at 4" in white, and added it to the embossed layer.  The phrase was cut at 4", and that was adhered on top of the star.  I added a patriotic ribbon and the bell which was cut at 2".
Thank you sooooo much for stopping by to visit me today.  Have a happy 4th of July.

Guess What Time It Is?

Hello Blogger Buddies,
I'm back from my trip to the Great American Scrapbooking Convention, and little mini vacation.  I decided to stay for a week, and relax with daughter, and friends.  They think I'm nuts with my purchases at the convention.  But in their own way they appriciate what I do, especially when they need a special card.
I love, love clocks, and when I saw this Spellbinders Cuckoo Clock die, well I just couldn't wait to get home and use it!  I will some day own a Cuckoo clock, but gosh are they expensive!
Here is my Cuckoo Card Creation.

Got White Cardstock?

Hello Blogger Buddies!!  If you just can't find the right colored cardstock for your next card, why not do an all white card like I have.  I found that you can really get creative with different boarders, and embossing.  I used a Martha Stewart boarder punch along with a set of Spellbinder dies.  I also embossed one of the layers with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder, and added a small white doily that I cut in half, and added to the left sides of the top layer.  I added a white bow and to finish off the card, I added some of my pearl flowers, and one of my home made stick pins.  I added a sentiment that I stamped in black ink, which the center of the pearl beads have a silver center that match the butterfly on the pin.  Thank you all soooo much for supporting me with your visits and comments.

Golf Is Life

Hello Blogger Buddies,
Today it's time for a guy card.  I borrowed the Sports Mania Cricut Cartridge from my friend Beulah, and decided I had to add it to my cricut collection.  So on our shopping trip last week, I actually found this older cartridge at JoAnn's.  Lucky me, and thanks Beulah for enabling me.
OK back to the card.  I used a 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" card base.  The golfer was cut at 5-1/2", the bag at 3-1/2", the ball and tee at 2-1/2" and the cart also had some grass that I cut at 1" in two different shades of green.  It's not so difficult to make a card for a guy if he has a hobby.  This was fun to make since I didn't use any flowers or large bows.  Have fun creating a card for your guy!  Thank you for taking the time to visit me today.  I sooooo appreciate all of you!

Always Loving You

Hello Blogger Buddies!!  This was such a fun card to make because I was able to make one of my ribbon roses using a 1-1/2" pink ribbon which gave me a very large pink rose to add to the center of this medallion.  I used five layered mats, and I didn't use any foam tape on any of the layer mats.  I was trying to challenge myself to not use too much foam tape on this card.  I actually like the matting on this card because it didn't make it too bulky.  I did use foam tape on the center layers....Just a little.    I think my card would of been too bulky if I had popped up all the layers.
I used the top note die which was cut from white card stock, and layered the large Floral Doily Motif from Spellbinders.  The top cut is the large Pendant from Spellbinders Shapeabilities.  The rose was added, and also one of my homemade pins.  Don't forget to watch my videos on how to make my ribbon roses, and stick pins.
Thank you all so much for your comments, and for visiting me.  I love to share my ideas with my wonderful followers and visitors.

How To Construct A Large Card Base

Hello Blogger Friends!
By using two pieces of card stock you can make a 5-1/2"x 7-1/2" card base. This is typically what I use to make most of my cards. The great thing is that you can purchase envelopes to fit this size at Staples. Either in the envelope section or a smaller quantity in the stationary section.  Thank you again soooo much for visiting me today!

Fancy Frames Easel-VIDEO

Hello Blogger Buddies!
I would like to share how to assemble the three sided easel on the Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge.  I have cut it out at 8" to accommodate a 5-1/2"x 7-1/2" card.  I used  regular card stock, and really holds it shape well.  There is no need to use chipboard, or double your cuts.  Have fun making your Fancy Frames easels. and thank you sooo much for visiting me today!!
