I am going crazy making my stick pins for my cards.  I was having a problem with finding the right glue in order to keep the beads from slide down the pin.  So I got my old rusty glue gun out, and came up with a thrifty idea to solve two problems.  Watch the video and you'll see what I mean.

Easel For Your Homemade Cards!

Hello Scrappers!  Today's project is so neat. I have been looking for an inexpensive way to display my cards at a craft fair. I looked for store easels and wow, I would have to spend my profits to accommodate all of my cards. This easel is made out of a gold colored paper clip, that came in a box of 100 from Staples for $4.00.  The clip measures just under two inches.  The clips in the pictures have been bent to form an easel, so that it will support your card. Making Candy Corn with George and Basic Shapes

How to stamp on glossy card stock

Hello scrappers! I am finally posting a video. I have been trying to uplaod this video for days now. For some reason I kept getting an error on youtube. I'm not sure why, but FINALLY I have a neat project to share. I hope it makes up for the long wait.

Stamping on glossy card stock gives your image such a vibrant look. I used chalk ink to add a subtle color for the sky and ground cover. Try cutting part of your image for a 3 dimensional look. Text in a circle-microsoft word

I enjoy making some of my sentiments in a circle on my computer using microsoft word. I then print it out on cardstock in my choice of color. Once it is printed, I use a circle punch to cut out my text. I make several at once with certain quotes so that I have plenty on hand to add to my cards or layouts. How to make a photo corner

This technique is not original. I was at a crop and several ladies were making their own photo corners. I spent more time filling my head with new ideas instead of scrapping. Today I want to share my scraplifted idea with you so that you can pass it along.LOL

Cut a square piece of cardstock. Any size you want. This one is 2".

Cut the square into two rectangles.

Score 1/4" on the right angle side.

Remove the corner square.

You may use a punch to make a decorative edge or leave as is.

Fold your rectangles at the two score lines.

Add adhesive to the inside of the scored lines, and add to your project.

HOW TO MAKE AN ENVELOPE

With an 8-1/2"x11" piece of computer paper, you can make any size envelope to fit your home made cards. I have been making these envelopes for a very long time. I think I learned this technique at a craft show that I attended. Thanks for joining me.
