Sea Shell Card

Thank you everyone for all of your support, and for all the wonderful friends that visit my blog.  Today I have a card to share that has an ocean theme once again.  Now sand dollars are very difficult to find on the beach, but if you visit a shell shop, you can find any size or shape you want.  The sand dollar on my card is just a little bigger than a quarter.  The perfect size to go with my other stamped shells.  Instead of cutting the shell shapes with scissors, I decided to tare them, and give it a more rustic look.  I love the black and white theme.  The next time you are at the beach, try hunting for those unusual shells at a shell shop.  Thanks for visiting!

Flip Flop Wreath Card-Life Is A Beach Cricut Cartridge

I know most of you have seen those adorable flip flop wreaths that people are hanging on their doors this summer.  Well when Gigi and I got together at the outer banks, we had to both make one.  I needed something colorful for my front door at the beach.  That is what inspired me to make this card.  I used the Life is a Beach Cricut Cartridge.  The flip flops are on page 64, and are cut at 2-1/4".   I did use some scraps to cut a second pair, and glued it to the back of my solid color shoe.  This will give it a chip board feel.  I cut a 2" circle and then used a 1" punch to cut out the center.  I then used pop dots on half of the flip flops, and arranged half of the flops in a cross shape.  I stacked two pop dots to raise the second row of flip flops for added dimension.  Tie a fluffy bow, and add it to the center circle, and secure on the back.  Once again I added double stacked pop dots to the back of the wreath, and attached it to my card front.  I used my computer to make my sentiment.  I hope you give this card a try.  It was a lot of fun to make as well as the wreath for my door!  Thank you everyone for all of your support that you give me by visiting my blog.

An inexpensive way to store your stickles

Hello all,  I still have not gotten my mojo back, but today I used the last few eggs in my Styrofoam egg carton.  So I decided to recycle the box by flipping it over, and with my exacto knife I cut some holes large enough so that my stickle bottles would fit snug.  If you cut the hole just right the bottles will not fall out.  When you open the box the bottles will not shift on you, and the inside can be used for additional storage.  I have added some glitter beads to the inside of mine.  Now the bottles will be primed and ready to go for my glitter projects.

Elegant Edges Greeting Card #2

Hello Scrappers!  I have another card to share with you today using the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.  I think I am hooked on this cartridge.  I own a few spellbinders, and I think I will limit my spending on those.  I love that I can cut any size that I need for my project with the EE cartridge.  This is one cart that I would definitely recommend.  As always, I appreciate that you take the time to visit, and for leaving me your comments.  Thanks again.

Hello Scrappers!  I finally get to relax, and start making some videos again.  My friend GiGi has over 200 hundred cartridges, and I am one of the lucky ones that gets to barrow the latest new cartridges.  So today I am using the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.  I now know that this cartridge is on my list for my next purchase.  Enjoy the video, and thank you for continuing to visit my blog.

My First Guest Designer-Creations by Beulah

Hello Scrappers!!!  Today I would like to welcome my first guest designer Creations by Beulah.  She has some wonderful, and creative projects.  I love camping, and this project was just so darn cute that I would like to share with my wonderful visitors, and followers.  The adorable porcupine is from Campin Critter Cricut Cartridge.  He was cut at 3".  The campfire is from the Camp Out cartridge and was cut at 2"

Graduation card using Wild Card Cricut Cartridge

 Hello everyone, It is graduation time again. I made this for a friend’s son who is graduation from high school on the 19th of June. I used the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge for the cap card and envelope. I cut the envelope and cap at 7-1/2". I used my white gel pen to define the tassel and added some red ribbon to the diploma. Over all I like the final results. Thanks for visiting me today and have a great weekend.

Thank you step card

Hello Scrappers!!  We had to have some unexpected repairs done on our motor home before a big trip.  A friend of ours who has a shop in Wilmington, NC did a fantastic job ordering the parts so that we could have  the repairs done.   We  tried to order the parts ourselves, and it would of taken a week or more.  Mike Lucas from Mike's RV Collision Center in Wilmington, NC had the parts for us the next day.  My husband drove two hours, got the parts, and had the work done in our home town the next day.  Thank you so much Mike!!  This is the thank you card I made for him.  Hubby is including a nice gift to go with the card.  

Scallop Circle Flower-VIDEO

Hello Scrappers!!!  Today I would like to share a project that I made using scallop circles.  If you remember I made a tree using the same size circles.  Now I have challenged myself at making a flower, and I think it turned out pretty well.  It is very dimensional, but yet still flat enough to send through the mail.  Have fun making your own scallop circle flower.

Hello Friends!!

Hello all!!!  I have been gone for about a week now, and I should be back on track, and posting in a few days.  My best friend's daughter got married, and I did the wedding flowers.  Lots of work, but it was a fairy tale wedding.  My feet have never ached so much.  I am ready to sit on my tush, and play with some paper, and my puppies are ready to get out of jail, and have paper stuck to them again.  I hope all is well, and thank you for still visiting, and supporting my blog while I have been gone.
