Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting even though I have not been able to post any new projects yet. I have had family, and friends visiting me since before Christmas. One more week of guests, and I will be posting videos, and crafting projects. I was so fortunate this holiday, and received so many neat crafting supplies, and lots of cricut cartridges too. I am also in the process of reorganize my craft space. Pictures, and maybe even a video to show case my crafting area is on my list to do too.
On top of all the family, and friends, my little Shih tzu Shoji had a dental appointment, and had to have two teeth pulled. So I'm nursing him, and giving him lots of hugs. There is nothing like having a tooth ache. Poor baby. Other than that, we are all well. I hope everyone is happy and healthy as well.

Hello everyone! Who doesn't like Hello Kitty? Well in my home. we all love her, because she is part of our family. My husband was born in Japan, and still has family that lives there. So I just had to make this sweet shape card with Kitty in her reindeer gear. The large card was cut at 7-1/2"and the small card at 5-1/4". I added stickles to the antlers, bow, and collar. Snow Friends Winter Wonderland Mantel

Hello everyone!! My cricut is smoking as I jump in to my Christmas decorating. My Christmas tree is even up, and decorated. I usually don't have it up until about a week before Christmas. These little snowmen inspired me to get moving. Once I had all 10 made, I had to get the mantel decorated. I cut all of the snowmen on the Snow Friends cartridge at 8". Most of you have seen the ribbon wreaths that I have made, and thought I should add one of the snowmen to the center of the wreath. So I made an extra large snowman to add to the center of this wreath. I cut him using the fit to page feature, which cut at 11.45". I used chipboard so he would be extra sturdy. His mouth, and eyes are black shiney buttons, and I added a ribbon around his neck for a scarf. Here are a few pictures to show my Snow Friends Wonderland.

Ribbon Mesh Christmas Wreaths

This is what I have been addicted to this weekend. Making these beautiful ribbon mesh wreaths are fun and inexpensive. I purchased the mesh at Sam's club for a 10-yard roll for $7.00, which takes two rolls for each wreath. The wire frame is the large size from Michael’s, which is only $2.99. You will also need some thin wire. I used the paddle wire from Michael’s, which can be found in the floral supply section. They carry two gauges, and I used the thinner wire. These can be hung without any additional decorations, since the ribbon is so beautiful. I did add a few ornaments, and a snowman to two of the wreaths. I love the red and white one. I call that one my candy cane wreath. Why not give this a try it is really fun and fast to make. My friends will love their new and different wreath to hand on their door this year.

Christmas Deer Card With The Imagine

Once I added pop dots to the layers on this deer from the Enjoy The Seasons Cartridge. I knew he was going to be perfect in front of this tree. I cut the deer and it's layers at 4-1/2" and the tree in the same size. I added pearls to the antlers, sleigh bells, and the cuttle bug embossed mat. I wish you could see it in person. Christmas Window Scene with The Imagine

My dogs, Oliver and Shoji decided that I needed to make a Christmas card for them. They are always sitting at the window watching the grass grow. So once again I had t to use the Imagine Enjoy The Season Cartridge since it has an adorable window scene. The original image had a cat in it, so I just cut two dogs and replaced the cat. I don't have a cat, and they said no cats on this card. All kidding aside. The image is on page 20 of the hand book. It was cut at 4-1/2" with the layers. The Christmas tree is on page 22 and it was cut at 4-1/2". I cut the third tree image in the handbook, and added stickles for the sparkle. Thanks to all who have been so kind to visit this week. I will have another Imagine card again tomorrow.

Enjoy The Seasons Christmas Card

Hello everyone,
This card was made using the Enjoy The Seasons Imagine cartridge. I printed a 5-1/2" square using the snowflake pattern for one of my background layers. This pattern is really beautiful, and now I don't have to keep searching for snowflake pattern paper. I just never seem to find it.

The bird and branch are cut at 4" including the layers.

The tag is found on page 25, and I changed the colors. The large layer is cut in white, and the oval layer I used the same snowflake pattern to match my mat.
My card base is cut at 4-1/4" x 11", and scored at the 5-1/2" mark.
I cut red card stock at 4"x 5-1/4" and then cut my snowflake patterned paper 1/4" smaller.
Once I adhered all my mats, and card base, I layered all my cuts to the main branch image using pop dots to add dimension. I attached the cut to a round scallop circle which is about 3-1/4". This was in my stash, so please check the size before adhering to your project.
I added rhinestones to the berries for a little sparkle, and also use Star Dust Stickles on the leaves and on the wing of the bird.
I stamped on my greeting on my small oval.

Snow Globe With Snowman Holiday Greeting Card

Hello Scrappers! Today's card is all made with stamps. I purchased these stamps at a Christmas craft show over the weekend. The large snow globe stamp is listed at $9.95 and the snowman is $6.50. There are several smaller stamps to choose from on the website so that you can make your own winter scene. I selected the snowman for the inside of my globe. I may have to order some different stamps so that I can make several different scenes. The greeting is a stamp by Inkadinkado, that I purchased at Michael's. Fall Decorations using the Cricut

I wanted to dress up my mantel for the fall, and Thanksgiving holiday. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More for the Tag. Which was cut at 11.24"x5.9" on my Gypsy. This allowed me to cut six tags on one mat. The letters were cut at 1" using Gypsy Font. I cut the oval shapes with my spell binder dies, and added dimensionals between the layers, and also added the pop dots to the back of each letter. I then tied each letter to some thick twine with red ribbon. I almost forgot to mention the turkey that separates the two words. He was cut using the Imagine. For the glass block, I cut the tree, and the scarecrow using the Celebrate With Flourish Cricut cartridge. I didn't make a note of the size for these two cuts. I did adjust the sizes with my Gypsy so that they would fit just right on the size of my block. I cut the images for the block out of thick black cardstock, and added removable glue dots, and adhered them to the block. This way when I get ready to decorate the block for Christmas, I can just remove the fall image and store it in a file. I didn't want to have several blocks for every holiday, so I will just keep redecorating the same one. Less stuff to store.

Fall Scarecrow using CELEBRATE WITH FLOURISH

Hello Scrappers! Today I finally got a chance to use my new Celebrate with Flourish Cricut lite cartridge. There are so many great, and easy to assemble images on this cart. When I was putting these cards together, I realized that my enabler friend ScrapnGiGi contributed to almost all the elements on the card. She called me when she found a deal on the cart. So I said yes go ahead a purchase it for me. Then she gave me a set of Peachy Keen Stamps. Which I used for the face on the scarecrow. As I was digging for a sentiment for the card, I stumbled upon some fall stickers that she gave me at the end of fall last year. So thank you Beulah for helping me make this card.
I cut the scarecrow at 3-3/4", which fits just right on a 4-1/4"x5-1/2 card base. The inside leaves are cut at 2-1/2". Like I said these cuts are super fast and easy to put together. Thanks for your visit today!

Hello everyone!! I have been on a crafting slump. I had to make this card for a client, so maybe I will eventually get back into my paper addiction again. On the inside of the card I used a cut from FROM MY KITCHEN CRICUT CARTRIDGE. The Martini glass is on page 60 of the handbook. I cut the glass at 3-1/4". I also cut an additional glass out of clear acetate, and added it on the top of the first cut. It actually looks like glass. Thank you everyone for visiting today!

Sea Shell Card

Thank you everyone for all of your support, and for all the wonderful friends that visit my blog. Today I have a card to share that has an ocean theme once again. Now sand dollars are very difficult to find on the beach, but if you visit a shell shop, you can find any size or shape you want. The sand dollar on my card is just a little bigger than a quarter. The perfect size to go with my other stamped shells. Instead of cutting the shell shapes with scissors, I decided to tare them, and give it a more rustic look. I love the black and white theme. The next time you are at the beach, try hunting for those unusual shells at a shell shop. Thanks for visiting!

Flip Flop Wreath Card-Life Is A Beach Cricut Cartridge

I know most of you have seen those adorable flip flop wreaths that people are hanging on their doors this summer. Well when Gigi and I got together at the outer banks, we had to both make one. I needed something colorful for my front door at the beach. That is what inspired me to make this card. I used the Life is a Beach Cricut Cartridge. The flip flops are on page 64, and are cut at 2-1/4". I did use some scraps to cut a second pair, and glued it to the back of my solid color shoe. This will give it a chip board feel. I cut a 2" circle and then used a 1" punch to cut out the center. I then used pop dots on half of the flip flops, and arranged half of the flops in a cross shape. I stacked two pop dots to raise the second row of flip flops for added dimension. Tie a fluffy bow, and add it to the center circle, and secure on the back. Once again I added double stacked pop dots to the back of the wreath, and attached it to my card front. I used my computer to make my sentiment. I hope you give this card a try. An inexpensive way to store your stickles

Hello all, I still have not gotten my mojo back, but today I used the last few eggs in my Styrofoam egg carton. So I decided to recycle the box by flipping it over, and with my exacto knife I cut some holes large enough so that my stickle bottles would fit snug. If you cut the hole just right the bottles will not fall out. When you open the box the bottles will not shift on you, and the inside can be used for additional storage. I have added some glitter beads to the inside of mine. Now the bottles will be primed and ready to go for my glitter projects.

Graduation card using Wild Card Cricut Cartridge

Hello everyone, It is graduation time again. I made this for a friend’s son who is graduation from high school on the 19th of June. I used the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge for the cap card and envelope. I cut the envelope and cap at 7-1/2". I used my white gel pen to define the tassel and added some red ribbon to the diploma. Hello Scrappers!! We had to have some unexpected repairs done on our motor home before a big trip. A friend of ours who has a shop in Wilmington, NC did a fantastic job ordering the parts so that we could have the repairs done. We tried to order the parts ourselves, and it would of taken a week or more. Mike Lucas from Mike's RV Collision Center in Wilmington, NC had the parts for us the next day. My husband drove two hours, got the parts, and had the work done in our home town the next day. Thank you so much Mike!! This is the thank you card I made for him. Hubby is including a nice gift to go with the card.

Hello all!!! I have been gone for about a week now, and I should be back on track, and posting in a few days. My best friend's daughter got married, and I did the wedding flowers. Lots of work, but it was a fairy tale wedding. My feet have never ached so much. I am ready to sit on my tush, and play with some paper, and my puppies are ready to get out of jail, and have paper stuck to them again. Just A Note Card Cartridge by Cosmo Cricut

This card is on page 37 from the Just A Note pre-loaded cartridge on the E2. There is a card feature on every page. I cut the card at 5-1/4" including the layers. All the cards on this cartridge are in the tri-fold style. Some of the characters are silly, but still very cute.LOL Here is one of the thank you cards that I put together. It was fun deciding what paper to use, and how to decorate the card. I ended up cutting the base in a cream colored card stock. Then I took a sheet of patterned paper, and put may paper upside down on the mat. This way the pattern would be correct to make layers for the original base. I just separated the three sections and made my own layers. I think I am going to have fun making these cards. Thank you again for visiting me, and looking at my creations!!!

Another Shape Card using Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge

I used the card feature on page 35 for the base of this card. I cut the card image at 4-3/4". I cut the frame three times from page 29, and glued the layers together for a chip board look. I used white cardstock for the first two layers, so that I could use the center oval for the center of my image. I used the oval cut out to stamp an image in the center. I used pop dots on the frame, and also for the center white oval. I added some white ribbon and white pearls to complete the look. On one of the pictures you will notice that I did not add the layer. I didn't realize there was a layer available till later. The other photo has the layer added. I kinda like the look of both. Thank you again for visiting my blog. I appreciate you so very much.

Shape Card using Wild Card and Bloom Cricut Cartridges

Hello Scrappers,

I decided to make a shape card using two older cricut cartridges. The doily card is from the Wild Card Cartridge, and the Birdcage is from the Bloom Lite Cartridge. Below are the sizes of all the cuts.

Doily-cut at 5” with liner for the inside
Cut a second liner at 5-1/2” for the front circle. Run the large circle through your cuttlebug. I used the Swiss dots folder.
Birdcage-cut at 3-1/4” I cut the image 4 time to make it look like chipboard.
Bird-cut at 2-1/2”
I tied two pieces of ribbon together to make the bow. I used a ¾” satin ribbon and layered lace beaded ribbon on top.

Feel free to use the colors I selected. Or feel free to use your favorite colors.

Make A Tree With Scallop Circles-2 min. Video

Hello Scrappers!!! I have lost my voice, and I still wanted to share a project with you. I cracked myself up when I watched the video.LOL Here are the steps for creating this easy tree.

Cut 4 scallop circles
make a score line so that you have 5 scallops on one side of the circle
fold and flip scallop over
fold the two sides up so that you have a point at the bottom of the scallop
attach the three folded scallops to the forth flat scallop
cut a tree trunk in any shape you desire.
cut away the exta piece of the flat scallop and attach the trunk to the back of the cluster of scallops. Now you have a tree!!!

Create A Critter Card

This is an adorable little monkey. I cut him out twice, and cut the monkey head off from the second completed monkey. Don't worry he is fine. Then I added one of the wobble pieces to the back of the cut piece. I attached it to the completed monkey, and now his head moves!!!! How To Store Your Paper The Cheap Way

This is what I put together for my 12x12" sheets of cardstock. I got the shelves at Target, but I cannot remember if I got one or two boxes of shelves. Anyway I know I paid $20.00 for the shelves. I put the shelves together with zip ties. This way you can space the shelves according to how wide you want them. I first made a square minus the front, and then added my inner shelves. You can use as many zip ties, as you need in order to make them sturdy. After you get your first cube completed, them you can build on that. For the second unit you will not need a bottom, because you will already have it from the first cube. If you need further explanation just pm me. Hope this makes sense.

My friend Beth's daughter is having a baby, and I offered to make her baby shower invitations. So to celebrate I will be doing a give away. If you can guess how many sheep I have, you will get a fab gift. This is for one of my followers, so if you would like to play along all you have to do is become a follower. Creating A Super Quick Greeting Card

This little squirrel is so darn cute! One year we captured 80 squirrels from our back yard, and relocated them. This was our hobby one summer. I was really going nuts with these little cuties. I think there was a population explosion!LOL

Greeting Card Planner

I seem to just barely get my cards in the mail in time for birthdays, and special occasions. So I decided to try and get organized, and prepare in advance. This year I may still be a little behind, but this project can be used year after year. I have created a pocket for each month to hold the cards that I need to send. I will be able to list the person's name, and date of the occasion on the cover of each month. If I can really get ahead, I can complete my cards that need to go out that month at the beginning of the month. My goal is to be at least one month ahead. I plan on using my cricut to decorate the front of the binder, and continue to add to it. As soon as I get the front of the binder blinged up, I will post a picture. Mother To Be-New Arrival Cricut Cartridge

My friend’s daughter is having a baby!!!! I cut the mother image at 4-1/4". I used the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge, and cut the design in black. Using the gatefold card style, and I layered designer paper on the right and left side of the two front panels. I cut a piece of pink cardstock at 3-1/2"x5-1/4" and layered a 3-1/4"x5" green cardstock on the pink. I added pink stitched ribbon on the left of the two layers after attaching the silhouette. Be sure to only add adhesive to the left side of your layers. This will allow the card to open. On the inside, I covered the front panels, and the center with the same cardstock that I used on the front of the card. I added pink card stock on the inside center, and the "Congratulations", was cut using the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge. I think the sweet little mother to be will enjoy her congratulations card. Ice Cream Cone Card-Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge

Hello Scrappers!! I took out my Sweet Treats Cartridge to make a fast card, and this truly was. Sometimes I forget that so many of the cricut cartridges have a card feature, and you can put together a quick card. I cut the base card, and all the layers at 5-1/4". I made two of these cards so that I could have a card and use the other as a gift tag. The strawberry is covered in red glitter to give the card a little sparkle. Using textured card stock also saves a step, and adds dimension for an even quicker card. Thank you for visiting.

I wanted to add a greeting card to the gift set that I altered, so I used the same card stock, roses and ribbon. I used the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge for the top note, and sentiment. I cut the sentiment at 2" and the top notes at 2-1/2" and 2-3/4". Now I have a really nice set to give as a thank you gift.

Two Valentine Cards With Beaded Pins

Hello Scrappers! I usually don't make Valentine cards, but couldn't resist using this pretty paper. I also used the Martha Stewart punch, anywhere on the page heart punch. The second card I used the Martha Heart, and Key chipboard embellishments. I finished them off with the beaded pins on each of the bows.
